Vivienne is the heroine of my “Water Horse Chronicles” series. I figured I’d start my character introductions off with her, since she’s the lead in my first series!

Vivienne is an innocent, often naive soul. When we first meet her, she has just arrived in Savannah and is engaged to Jesse Leighton of the esteemed Leighton Family. She has high hopes for a beautiful wedding and has nothing but sunshine and roses on her mind.

Until the swimming pool.

She finds a corpse in the Leighton swimming pool, and thus begins her exposure to the world of the kelpies. Prior to arriving in Savannah, she had no idea there was such a thing as Scottish horses who drowned and ate humans. Now, she finds herself tangled in their curse, in the group of hunters that stalks them, and in a romance she hadn’t expected or wanted.

She fast befriends a kelpie named Eelus and learns that there is beauty to be found even in the darkest of creatures. She begins to lose her heart to both the kelpies and a handsome restaurant owner while finding herself drawn to the leader of the water horses, Lochin. It’s all most confusing, most devastating, and utterly, unbelievably amazing.

A few facts about Vivienne. She hails from Hendersonville, North Carolina. Her father’s a preacher. She has an affinity for hot chocolate. She’s usually soft-spoken, not necessarily outgoing, and dislikes being the center of attention. All part of a difficult lifestyle to maintain when dealing with violent, passionate water spirits!

If you appreciate quiet, brave heroines that are often self-sacrificing to their detriment, I encourage you to give “Kelpie” and “Water Horse” a try! They’re both available on Amazon, Kindle, and Audible! Stay tuned for more character intros!
